This sturdy, lush tarot Deck Case is made of doubled-up black velvet and rich, thick faux Fur surrounding the case and the flap. A metal chain is attached from the top right to the bottom left, to create movement and evoke feelings of safety and protection. A clear quartz crystal (pictured is a small lapis lazuli crystal) is attached to the case, perpetually adding a vibration of clarity to the cards. The crystal also allows the reader to benefit from its proximity while reading the cards (this crystal can be cleansed by laying the tarot deck case under the full moon, or under the sun, or via the use of sound, sage, or intention). Finally, the entire case is sewn with large, thick hemp rope, reminiscent of similar ancient creations.
The variety of materials (crystal, metal, hemp, suede, fur) is meant to remind the reader of the bounty of nature's materials, and to aid in establishing a connection with intuition before a reading.
